Summary#

Anyone can sign up for the Cydea Risk Platform. Upon signing up, users will either gain access to an existing organization’s workspaces or create a new organization if they are the first user.

To sign up, you must have your business email and an authenticator app, as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a mandatory requirement for the platform.

Steps#

  1. Navigate to https://risk.cydea.app and click Sign Up
  2. Add your business email address and Set a Password. This will show a ‘Thanks for Registering’ screen.
  3. Check your email for an email from support@cydea.com and click the “Confirm my account” button with the email, or copy and paste the link into your browser.
  4. Once you have confirmed your email, you should go back to https://risk.cydea.app and now click Log in, and sign in with your password.
  5. You will be prompted to Set Up MFA, using a chosen Authenticator App on your mobile phone.
  6. Scan the QR code, input the MFA code, and you’re into the platform.

Troubleshooting steps#

After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email. Once your email address is confirmed, you can log in. If you do not receive the email, please check with your IT department, as they may be blocking it.
